Louis Gallegos

I am a recent graduate of New Mexico State University majoring in 3D animation, with an emphasis on character animation and a minor in Digital Film. My interests began when I took an animation course during my Sophomore year and I completely fell in love with the medium. I learned the ins and outs of the process of animation as well as the  dedication and hard work that goes into producing amazing art.  I knew it was what I wanted to do.  At this same time, Covid struck the nation and in-person classes were shut down.  I was required to learn at-home.  It was a struggle with the limited interaction and technology but, I knew it was worth it.  I was able to save enough money for a higher functioning laptop I needed to run the programs, such as Maya and ZBrush. I aspire to be a character animator and bring to life all sorts of characters for the enjoyment of others to view and hopefully inspire others to become future animators.
